No Need to Carring Orginal Driving Licence Before 5th SEP


Chennai High Court said the Orginal Driving Licence is not mandatory till 5th Sep.

The Transport Mister M.R VijayaBaskar said Orginal Driving Licence is mandatory after 1st Sep. Social activist Ramasamy and Larry Owners filed a welfare petition in the High Court.

In this case,Today the trail came to Judge Duraisamy, According to the Vehicle Act 139, no Orginal Driving Licence is required for Driving. He said that the government will be interrogated in this regard and postponed the inquiry to the afternoon.

Later, the Chief Justice of the Tamil Nadu Government appeared in the inquiry. "At the time of rain, the documents are likely to be damaged. Then it's hard to protect it. Who is responsible for damages during natural disasters? The judge raised the question.

The chief attorney assured him that till 5th Sep, the Original Driving Licence would not be compulsory.
